Beside The Sea

A trip to Hastings in 2016 is what started my love of painting boats and the seaside. Since then, I’ve produced a series of similar style mixed media pieces based on Hastings and other places that I’ve visited by the sea. The pieces primarily use paint, but I also use charcoal, oil pastels and even elements of collage. I try and create a sense of movement - I love how dynamic seaside environments are.
